Last month, the Finker-Frenkel Family Foundation hosted a sold-out event with former Mexican president Felipe Calderón at the University of Miami Business School. As part of the foundation’s World Leadership Forum, the event reflected a common goal shared by the Finker-Frenkel Family Foundation and the University of Miami Business School: to engage world leaders and spark conversation, collaboration and understanding on complex international topics. President Calderón engaged the audience with his discussion on trade, immigration and climate change.
President Calderón’s message on doing well by doing good reached the receptive ears of the students, faculty and alumni of the University of Miami Business School. The presentation shed light on the codependence of Mexico and the U.S. in trade and explained how investing in solar and wind energy initiatives actually makes sustainable energy possible–and profitable. We are so proud to be a participant in such a memorable event and look forward to bringing more distinguished world leaders to Miami through the Finker-Frenkel World Leadership Forum.
